Danish Geodata Agency recreates Denmark in Minecraft

Denmark, a small country in Europe, has been re-created in Minecraft by the Danish Geodata Agency (Geodatastyrelse) under Denmark's Danish Ministry of the Environment. The ministry's job is to ensure that all citizens have access to maps and general information on Denmark, and they have taken it to the next level.

Geodatastyrelse have successfully reconstructed the entire country of Denmark on a 1:1 scale, complete with most buildings in Denmark. They said on their website (translated into English):
Geodatastyrelsen would like to bring the free spatial data used in as many places as possible so that the community can get the maximum benefit from frikøbet of geographic data. With 'Denmark's free spatial data in a Minecraft World' hope Geodatastyrelsen to arouse especially children and teachers' interest in spatial data, because we meet them in a game universe they already know.

The Minecraft map of Denmark is divided into three worlds, seen below:

The maps are available for download at the source link below (it's in Danish), and until October 23rd you can even play the worlds online at the server IPs in the above image. The Ministry points out that the severs are usually under heavy load from everyone trying to connect, so downloading the world is recommended.
