Sony had their conference at the popular gaming event E3 yesterday, and they also showed a sneak peak of Minecraft PS Vita Edition. While it's only featured for a few seconds at the start of the video, it's the first footage of the port we've seen.
At the event, Sony also announced the PS Vita TV will be sold outside of Japan in the near future. The $99 PS Vita TV can play any digital Vita game, including Minecraft Vita Edition when it's released. We will have to see if Minecraft can dominate yet another platform.
