MinecraftEdu 1.7.10 Build 16 released, adds support for more languages

If MinecraftEdu is going to be in the hands of every school in Northern Ireland (as well as all the other schools who bought it), it shouldn't have any bugs. A new update for MinecraftEdu is now available for teachers, most notably adding support for French and Russian languages.

The update also updates the version of Forge Mod Loader to 1291, bringing the update's improvements and stability to MinecraftEdu. However, the core game is still on Minecraft 1.7 - and with Minecraft 1.9 starting development, it's going to get even further behind.

The update also brings a few bug fixes, see the source link for details.
