Minecraft 1.9 RC2 is out for testing

Jeb from Mojang just announced on his Twitter account that Minecraft 1.9 RC2 is out, both in single-player and server versions. He also made a point to say that 1.9 RC2 will be almost exactly like the finished game to appear at Minecon. So if you feel adventurous, or just want to kill a dragon, download the single player jar file here and the server file here. Please note that upgrading your Minecraft will erase all your mods.
