We have all been waiting for a way to use our favorite mods without having to open up our minecraft.jar file, and next year we might just get it. BebopVox reported on his Minecraft Monday Show that official mod support could come as early as January. He declined to reveal additional details, but he did say that the message came from the CEO of Mojang, Carl Manneh. Whenever it's coming, it's coming soon.
