No, not that kind of turret. This mod adds protective turrets to your Minecraft world. There are three levels of turrets, with each adding more attack power and health. They can also be configured to shoot at passive mobs or hostile mobs. The weakest turret, the T1, only has 10 hearts and shoots arrows like a dispenser. T2 turrets shoot bullets and have twice the health of T1. The most powerful level, the T3, shoots lasers and plasma projectiles and had five times the health power of the T1.
