Today Daniel Kaplan, one of the developers for the Minecraft Pocket Edition software, showed off on Twitter some of the new blocks there will be. New items include cobblestone shovels, pickaxes, axes, and swords. Also new are sheers, wooden fences, and fence gates. It seems like this screenshot may have given away that sheep are being added to the game as indicated by the sheer, or perhaps just to use with leaves. Crafting tables will also be added, since he mentioned that all items with the ∞ sign will be craftable.
