Mr. Mollstam over at Mojang has told Twitter a few facts about data collected from Mojang's servers. Firstly, eighty percent of Minecraft servers are running Bukkit. No surprise there, considering there are thousands of plugins available for the platform. The remaining amount, twenty percent, are servers running on the vanilla builds provided by Mojang.
