More progress on Zombie Villagers, 'the cutest little terror ever'

If you thought that Nathan was kidding about villagers turning into zombies, you were wrong. Progress is being made on the shapes and sizes of them, and Nathan Adams showed us a picture of a baby villager turned to a zombie. Nathan described it as, "the cutest little terror ever!"  He also said on his Twitter stream, "Currently they're really fast (almost as fast as a sprinting player) and won't age. Also, they don't burn up in the sun, but that may change. They'd be pretty rare because you'd only get them from zombies eating baby villagers, so I'm not worried about making them too difficult." Are you excited about zombie villagers in Minecraft 1.4?

    Also, as a side note: Digging into this, it seems that Jens really wants to work on performance issues, the Workbench API, Zombies, and Villages in the next update. Over on their Reddit Jens said, "Villages aren't even half done, we have a lot of things to add to them to make it worth your while finding one, and then staying."
