Mojang listens to the community, and has returned the links to Minecraft Classic. Tobias Mollstam previously said that the links to Minecraft Classic on the Minecraft.net home page would be removed. He never exactly said exactly why, but many thought it had something to do with Minecraft Demo coming out. The pages were still there but just invisible. It seems like the links are back, however they link to a page saying, "Minecraft Classic is a several years old version of Minecraft and is no longer supported, nor is it being worked on." It then recommends that you play the Minecraft Demo, and at the very bottom are links to Multiplayer and Singleplayer Minecraft Classic. Even though the links are back, it seems like another nail in Classic's coffin.
