Many people have been asking Powered by Redstone about the Minecraft PE update that still isn't out, and Johan at Mojang has told us that he can not announce a release date right now. But he's looking to the future and said on Twitter, "I'm currently making an alternative to the nether, where new resources can be added to maps. I'll tweet as I implement stuff." This is most likely the 'exclusive feature' for Minecraft Pocket Edition that Johan said a while ago. Also, in a reply to a follower he siad, "Redstone is a big project for MCPE, I think this will be added at some point in the future but I don't know when." It is believed that Redstone has not been added yet due to the lag it would cause on older devices. So in conclusion, 0.4.0 isn't out and I already want 0.5.0.Source: @jbernhardsson
