Nearly all lighting bugs in Minecraft fixed, players around the world rejoice

Nathan Adams over at Mojang has been working on revamping the Minecraft lighting engine recently, and has come to a conclusion that will please anyone who has ever played Minecraft: nearly every lighting bug has been fixed. He said on Twitter today, "Remember that silly lighting bug where world would generate with big black patches? Well you may not remember it in the future; it's fixed. So that's lighting black holes, slabs, stairs... what other big lighting bugs are there?" This is obviously fantastic news, so I will leave you with the source link and the mental image of me dancing gangnam style with joy.
