Minecraft 1.4 released, named 'Pretty Scary Update'



The Minecraft 1.4 update is finally among us. Mojang has pushed the update today including the Wither Boss, Wither Skeleton, Anvil, Witches, improved zombies, flower pots, new foods, and all the bug fixes from the 1.4 Pre-release. The update is already available on Mojang's servers, so just click Yes to update after you log into Minecraft. Are you ready to play?

    It's an item dropped from the Wither boss, and is an ingredient for beacon blocks.
