Minecraft Pocket Edition 0.7.0 detailed, will have dedicated servers

BBHhqgaCIAEGCB5Minecraft Pocket Edition is growing more rapidly than ever before, and Minecraft PE 0.6.0 is being pushed to devices as we speak. But Mojang is looking to the future for (what we assume will be labeled) Minecraft PE 0.7.0. What will this version have you ask? Multiplayer functionality for one. Not just LAN play, but being able to play with one another from different networks and possibly even 3G. Even more exicting is something that was just announced a few hours ago by Johan, "It looks like we'll create a dedicated server for the next version." That means that you will be able to create Minecraft PE servers the same way you can create dektop Minecraft servers. I'm hoping that a few of my favorite servers (cough) will make PE versions of this server, but hey you never know.

    Hey Corbin I thought of some ideas for future updates
    For bigger maps
    There will be a setting for them. The ones we play on right now are small maps
    The there is a medium size map setting
    Then a large size map setting if ur iPod can handle it
    You know how people like how so maps are and they never get them when randomizing well know they don't have to randomize they just have to go to the terrain setting
    Terrain setting includes:
    Forest
    Swamp
    Mountains with overhangs and caves

    Plains, eft.
    Add lava above the bedrock layer
    Add new monsters (dragons, dionosaurs obviously)
    Add a black smith anvil for upgrading armor, tools
    Weather, boats, rolar coasters
    Minerals will respawn after a while and new ground will appear in areas that u have dug

    Yeah, but most phone/tablet CPUs can't handle the lag that redstone makes. That's why you need a Core 2 Duo and 4 GB of RAM to run Minecraft for the PC.
