Minecon 2013 will be hosted in the United States, 'murica rejoices

jln1Nothing about Minecon 2013 has been revealed up to this point, and we have a bit of good news for you if you live in North America. Today on Twitter Mojang's 'Director of Fun' Lydia Winters said, "MINECON will be in the US this year. Sorry dear Brits. I'm not coming to scout locations!" The first Minecon, which was hosted in Los Angeles in 2011. The second Minecon was in Disneyland Paris in 2012. This year Minecon returns to 'murica but to a yet unknown lcation.     YES! Michigan for the win. Dude you just read my mind. The Detroit Cobo center is actually very awesome. It hosts the North American International Auto Show every year, and people come from all over the world to see it. If Minecon was there, You KNOW that people all over the world would come.

    They really should give people in the UK a chance to go.

    They might be focusing in areas that have the most Minecraft players. For example we get twice the amount of viewers from the United States than we do the UK :)
