Minecraft PE 0.7.0 submitted, expected release date is June 6th

Good news for all you Pocket crafters, Minecraft PE 0.7.0 has finally been submitted! Johan (one of the main developers of MCPE) said on Twitter, "It will take a couple of weeks until it will be release. I'm hoping for the 6th or June. This will give us time to finish the Android version and Pocket Realms. It is not really called Pocket Realms (but the Pocket Edition part of Realms)."

For those of you unaware, Apple is required to approve every app update (and every new app) before they are allowed to go live in the Apple App Store. Apps on the Android Market/Google Play Store is a little different, app updates go through automated checks to make sure they are not filled with malware and go live within a few minutes. That means that while MCPE for Apple devices is going through the long process of approval, they can continue to iron out bugs on the Android/Kindle versions.
