Today Mojang surprised us with Minecraft Pocket Edition 0.7.2, which is now rolling out to iPhone and Android. The update's big new feature is multiple languages, very similar to the feature that arrived in Minecraft 1.1. Also new in this release are player nameplates (you can finally see who burned your house!), a player list, and more. Unfortunately we can't tell you much else, because the update hasn't shown up on our Android devices (or my friend's iPad). We will update the post once the update shows up on our devices.
Also did you notice our American Flag logo for 4th of July? ;)

Butt Butt Butt Butt Butt.... I Have Been Waiting For The Update!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteYes, I have. It was pretty nifty.
ReplyDeleteMy cousin changed his language to Greek, just so he could talk in Greek (he has no idea how to speak it otherwise) and it changed it on the device. Now he can't type in his password to get back on Minecraft, or anything, actually. T.T lol

ReplyDeleteWhy haven't 0.7.2 come out on kindle fire's pocket edition?
ReplyDeleteThe bug fixes for 0.7.2 might not affect Kindle Fire devices, or Mojang/Amazon are just slow to push it out. Either way 0.7.2 and 0.7.1 clients can connect with eachother.
