Minecraft Xbox Edition TU12 submitted, includes ocelots, higher map limit, jungle biome, and more

Minecraft-Xbox-360-Edition-Wallpaper_5414299_lrgMinecraft Pocket Edition isn't the only version of Minecraft that's getting an update soon. Today 4J Studios, the company responsible for porting Minecraft to the Xbox 360 console, announced today that Title Update 12 (TU12) has been sent to Microsoft for testing before release on Xbox Live. The changelog is nothing but good news to Xbox Live players, which adds numerous features from the PC Edition.

The biggest changes include the new world height at 256 blocks, jungle biomes, ocelots, iron golems, cocoa beans, a new AI for mobs, and new sounds. The update also includes support for texture packs and 'mashup packs'. Smaller additions include 3D item drops (like in Fancy graphics on the PC), Desert Wells, a new Tutorial World, rare drops for mobs, boats in a world can reach to 40, and slabs can be placed on the underside of blocks.

If you have Minecraft for the Xbox, are you excited for the new update?
