Minecraft Pocket Edition 0.7.6 arrives on Apple App Store, still not released for Kindle [Update: now on Kindle]

71Q877YXIKLA few days ago, Minecraft Pocket Edition 0.7.6 was approved early by Google for the Play Store, and it became available to all Android users. Today, the update has finally arrived on the Apple App Store for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch. Unfortunately for Amazon Kindle owners, the update is not yet available on the Amazon Appstore. However, if you have a rooted Android device, you can back up your copy of Minecraft PE from your phone and install it on your Kindle using our instructions here.

The update is available for all iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad devices running iOS 5 or later. See the source link for the App Store link, and happy Minecrafting!

Update: BurningVShadow in the comments pointed out that Minecraft PE 0.7.6 is now in the Amazon Appstore, and we have confirmed it.
