Minecraft Pocket Edition 0.8.0 to have compasses, clocks, hay, and more

BXRjFUaCUAAdJhJWhile Minecraft 1.7 is on the eve of it's release, Minecraft Pocket Edition will soon get it's own major upgrade. Minecraft PE developer Johan tweeted the above screenshot saying, "yay afterthoughts! I was fixing the bow, and the clock and compass became easy to add.. It's neat when it happens!" So clocks and compasses have been confirmed, but there's another surprise in the item dock...

One of the items in the hotbar is hay for horses. While it would make sense to include it as a creative-only item, perhaps horses are coming to Pocket Edition 0.8.0? Only time will tell.

    I think in 0.8.0 you can get the redstone item from mining redstone blocks, but it will only be used as a crafting recipe (can't be placed...yet).
