A few weeks ago Mojang announced they would begin a beta program for Minecraft Pocket Edition, to allow beta testers to play and report bugs similar to Minecraft PC. Today Joahan and Tommaso, two PE developers, live-streamed their plan for Pocket Edition betas. You can watch the video above, but here's the most important points to note:
For those of you who do not own an Android device, and for those who don't want to/can't run the game, we will be creating video reviews of every new beta as they are released. I'm getting my Nexus 5 set up for video recording, so hopefully we will release a video soon after the beta is released! We will bring you more information as it becomes available, but that's all for now.

Today Joahan and Tommaso, two PE developers, live-streamed their plan for Pocket Edition betas. You can watch the video above, but here's the most important points to note:
- The Minecraft Pocket Edition betas are only available to Android devices, and only those that have bought the game through Google Play (sorry Kindle users!).
- You can signs up for the betas by joining a Minecraft PE Google Plus community that the developers will create tomorrow.
- You must have bought the game through Google Play Store. Amazon App Store, Apple App Store, and pirated purchases don't count.
- Once/if you are accepted, an update will appear for Pocket Edition in the Google Play Store. Once updated you will be running the beta!
