While Minecraft Pocket Edition approaches the 0.8.0 release, Mojang is starting to prep the 0.9.0 release. Toady on Twitter, MCPE developer Tommaso Checchi tweeted "endermen are confirmed for 0.9 :) The crafting GUI probably never, it's really awkward to use on smaller screens!" The tweet was a reply to an MCPE player, who asked "The crafting GUI probably never, it's really awkward to use on smaller screens!" So if you love the way crafting works on Minecraft PC Edition, it unfortunately doesn't look like it's coming to mobile.

Minecraft Pocket Edition 0.8.0 will be released sometime before Christmas (no date has been confirmed by Mojang). Minecraft Pocket Edition 0.9.0 will be released in the first quarter (Jan-March) of 2014. Please don't ask when a future version will be released in the comments, they will be removed.
