PocketMine Server comes to iOS, host a PE server from your jailbroken iPhone

PocketMine-MP-h

We have talked a bit about PocketMine-MP Server in the past, including talking with the main developer himself. PocketMine-MP is the Bukkit server of the Minecraft Pocket Edition world, offering plugins and functionality equivalent to Bukkit on the PC platform. PocketMine is cross-platform, so it's no surprise it's been ported to just about every major operating system. There is even an experimental build for Android that was released today, available on the Google Play Store.

If you have an iOS device that's jailbroken, we might have some good news for you. PocketMine has added iOS support to their installer today, meaning if you have a Terminal application installed from the Cydia app store you can run it. The script happens to be the same one designed for Mac, but has slight adjustments to work with iDevices. You can find the instructions for the installer in the source link. If you get an error that cURL isn't installed, you can get it from the Saurik Cydia repository (which is enabled by default on Cydia).
