Earlier today, Johan Bernhardsson from Mojang shared a new screenshot of Minecraft Pocket Edition 0.9.0. The screenshot, seen above, shows the new crafting interface. As opposed to the old list-based crafting system, this new interface only highlights items that you have/can use in crafting.
Tommaso, another Minecraft PE developer, said on Twitter "Oh by the way: the new crafting screen, is not drag & drop like PC, the crafting grid is just to show what items you need!" The new interface also seems more simplistic than the older one, requiring the player to scroll up and down the list to craft.
Minecraft Pocket Edition 0.9.0 is slated to arrive next month on iOS, Android, and Kindle. See the source link below for the original tweet.

I think that instead of bricks as your inventory it should be a chest... It just makes since
ReplyDeleteThis is so cool. It's going to be better than the XBox/Playstation Editions
ReplyDeletecan't wait
ReplyDeleteWhat do you mean, bricks?
ReplyDeleteNo. When you click on the crafting table now that picture pops up. And on the left side is of the screen is your inventory put into categories :) That isn't the inventory that you bring up it to see what's in it.
ReplyDeleteHellz yeah it will :D
ReplyDeleteIn the chest tab it shows what you have in your inventory. Like I said, a chest reminds me of the stuff I have, not bricks
ReplyDeleteWait, how are they able to craft fences, tools, and beds in their inventory? You only have a 2x2 crafting grid in your inventory, and many of these items require 3x3.
ReplyDeleteAgreed!!
ReplyDeleteLook closly at the bottom right.............
ReplyDeleteoh. that does make sense
ReplyDeletehey i agree with droid, I do think it should be a chest, it reminds me of my inventory, I also think since the new animals and biomes are coming out, that if there are new biomes there should be temples.
