Minecraft Pocket Edition 0.9.0 was delayed several times because of bugs, but even six months of development didn't iron all of them out. Players, especially on iOS, have reported several bugs since the update went out. The most common among our readers is the 'out of memory' message on iOS, which is getting fixed. Developer Johan tweeted earlier:

We have submitted 0.9.1 to Amazon and Google Play and currently working on Appstore. Should fix many of the crashes when it comes out. :)

ReplyDeleteWell the only bugs I see in the mcpe 0.9 on my Amazon Kindle Fire 2nd generation are.

Bug 2) crashes sometimes when I exit the app, go in it and tap a world and crashes while it generates.
Bug 3) cocoa beans seem to be not growing at all.
Bug 4) enderman seem to glitch out from time to time.
Bug 5) Mob spawner blocks in creative don't save the entity inside them, but they do save in survival.
That's all I found
I can't wait til the fix comes out so then I can go on infinite worlds and not loose my house cause of being lagged out

ReplyDeleteI've noticed an Issue where wooden tools can only be made specifically out of oak planks. Just oak. Not birch or dark oak or anything else. Other than that, no bugs.

Bug 2) Peaceful mode is not working well, if you switch from normal to peaceful, hostile mobs present, don't disappear, you can spawn mobs in peaceful, and mob spawner blocks spawn mobs even in peaceful.
Bug 3) cocoabeans don't grow unless you use bonemeal.

I cant spawn hostile mobs, or make hostile spawners work, its super laggy, crashes every 20 seconds. I would rather play on 0.8.0 instead of this much bugs and lag. Dark oak saplings dont grow, villagers cant even open doors... this is so stupid.

ReplyDeleteI am pretty sure I found a solution to the 'running out of memory problem'. It says that because as you explore the world it takes time to load the surroundings, the server thinks it is a problem and that it is loading slowly when it is not. You can fix it by, going to pause game (the '||' sign on the top right- hand corner), then open options, then open the third icon going downwards (the blocks), then change the 'fancy graphics, beautiful skies and animated water' setting to '0'. It should work then. :)

I was playing in it for a few minutes, then it crashed, and when i started the game again, it looked like my world disappeared, but when i scrolled down the list, i found a world that didn't have a title and it was in creative, i tapped the world, and found out that it was my survival world, but it had switched to creative and it became infinite. Despite my world being in creative, i still got hurt and couldn't fly, can anyone please help me get my world back to survival mode? :(

ReplyDeleteI believe that an IPod 4th Generation doesn't have dual-core like an IPod 5 or IPad 3. And without a dual-core, it's really glitchy on infinite worlds. Don't automatically trust me here, but last time I checked, IPod 5 was the first IPod with a dual-core.
