It's the same deal with the disc version of other Minecraft editions, it's the same game and gets the same updates as the digital copy from Xbox Live/PlayStation Network. You can play online with both versions.
The game for Xbox One will be available in stores at $19.99. If you previously owned the Xbox 360 Edition either on disc or digitally, you can't get the disc at a discount (but you can still get it digitally for $4.99). See the source link for all the details.
