Minecraft Pocket Edition 0.10.0 is the start of several quick minor releases, as opposed to the slow major updates that 0.8.0 and 0.9.0 were. One of the additions in the 0.10.0 update has been confirmed today - day and night in creative mode. Tommaso tweeted earlier:
Previously on Minecraft PE, creative worlds stayed in noon during the entire game. It was possible to get around this by converting the world to a survival world using a 3rd party tool, playing on it, and converting it back. Minecraft PE server software like PocketMine have had the ability to turn day/night cycles on and off for a while now.
