The graphics of a game don't determine it's success - and probably the best example of that is Minecraft. Today PlayStation posted their top games (in terms of sales) for all their consoles during the month of September. Once again, Minecraft is the best-selling game on both the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3.
Even more interesting is that Destiny, one of the most acclaimed and anticipated games for PlayStation for 2014 - Destiny - was outsold by Minecraft. Unfortunately this only counts sales through the PlayStation Store - physical disc sales of both Minecraft and Destiny are not counted (and of course used copies). Still, it's quite an achievement for 4J Studios and Mojang.
