Minecraft: Vita Edition will be released October 15th, but only for Europe

Minecraft: Vita Edition was originally supposed to release alongside the Xbox One and PS4 Editions, but several delays due to bugs kept that from happening. But if you are in Europe, here's some good news for you - it's coming out October 15th. 4J Studios tweeted this on their account:
"[Minecraft PS Vita Edition] passed final test and will be released on 15th October in Europe! We don't have a confirmed North America [Minecraft PS Vita Edition] release date yet. Hopefully we'll hear soon."

Like the tweet said, still no date for North America (or the rest of the world, for that matter). It's a bit strange that the game would be published for one region before another, but perhaps the bugs in the game were due to localization or something similar.
