Minecraft PE 0.10.0 Release Candidate 1 released, still not there yet

Originally the developers at Mojang said Minecraft Pocket Edition 0.10.0 Beta build 5 would be the last before the final release on Android and iPhone, but four builds later we are still not there.

Mojang is determined to make sure 0.10.0 is a (relatively) build-free release, because Build 9 is officially out. Here's the changelog:

Bugfixes

  • Fixed number of blocks/items not showing up in toolbar and item panes

  • Fixed crash when shutting down server while client has chest/furnace open

  • Fixed entities in multiplayer, they should now work as expected :)

  • Door are now correctly updated (when opened/closed) on clients

  • Added back the moving item animation in chests

Tweaks

  • Beds are now easily placed on replaceable tiles like tall grass

Most interestingly, this release has been designated 'Release Candidate 1', which indicates this is almost exactly like the final release and there will only be bug fixes from now until the final release. Also with the '1' at the end it's likely there will be one or two more release candidates. See the source link below for the original changelog:

  1. You know why?
    Humans.
We ALL make mistakes. It's ingrained in our selves, for lack of better term.
Also, because errors are always there.
    ALWAYS.
