When Mojang was bought by Microsoft some people believed MinecraftEdu would be shut down. If you don't know, MinecraftEdu is a modified version of Minecraft developed by TeacherGaming, designed for use in schools. But it appears that Microsoft is endorsing MinecraftEdu:
