Yesterday was the launch of..well everything. In addition to the first snapshot of Minecraft 1.9, and the first beta for Minecraft: Pocket Edition 0.12.0, we also got the first beta of Minecraft Windows 10 Edition. But have you downloaded it and tried it out? Answer in the poll below!

I tried it out for a few minutes, and well, it's Minecraft and even runs well on my lousy laptop. :) Very smooth on the desktop and works well with the game pad. I haven't yet bothered to see how the mouse and keyboard works, but I'm assuming E brings up your inventory and such.
ReplyDelete"E" does indeed Bring up your inventory.
ReplyDeleteI don't have Windows 10 yet and I probably won't upgrade just in case of any bugs and such. But when I do upgrade I will definitely try Minecraft Windows 10 Edition
ReplyDeleteDo you have to have Windows 10 to get it?
ReplyDelete(Aww, no Markdown!)
Yes
ReplyDeleteI've played Windows 10 edition but It's still not as good as PE as PE has enchanting... But that will change soon.
ReplyDeleteWindows 10 has no bugs ( I own it, and I've tested it) nothing wrong has happened to my custom computer.
ReplyDeleteOh ok, I might upgrade straight away then when I can
ReplyDeleteI tried it a bit after (was upgrading another PC at the time) and yep, you're right. Not that complicated, thankfully. :)
ReplyDeleteI can't say it has no bugs, but I've only found two that were minor. One fixed itself right quick, and the other required a command line typed, but otherwise I can't believe how happy I am with Windows 10. It's been great and reliable like no other new version of Windows I've had in a long long time.
ReplyDeleteWindows 10 has plenty of bugs, there just pretty minor and easy to fix
ReplyDeleteGood to know really
ReplyDeletehow do I change the controls so I cn use the roller on my mouse s jump?
ReplyDeleteif you try to use firefox on windows 10 it takes 3x as long to load as 8. soit basically forces us to use edge
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't look like you can... Yet, at least.
ReplyDeleteI was playing wound with MC W10 Ed, and I created a nether portal and went to the nether. So, the nether exists in it. :)
ReplyDeleteI've been using Chrome and Firefox on Windows 10 without any issues.
ReplyDeleteIt appears that there are no caves in this version, with hopefully "yet" as an added word.
