Minecraft Pocket Edition 0.12.0 released on iOS, not on Android yet

A few days ago, Amazon jumped the gun and approved Minecraft PE days before it's scheduled release date, September 8th. Today is the day, and Mr. Checchi over at Mojang announced the good news:

But as he soon realized, nothing breaks you down faster than hordes of pre-teens on social media begging you to release their favorite game:

The update should be live for all iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch users by this time, but unfortunately it has yet to show up on Google Play. Google Play only has an automated review process and releases updates within a few hours, meaning we should either see it in a few hours or tomorrow.

  2. I am glad the update has been released although I feel there are a few bugs that need to be eliminated in the next update. I know it can't be perfect, but a fix update should be due. Other than that, great job Mojang. Also, hey Corbin, can I help you make articles for the site? I feel that both you and I could benefit from this. Thanks for your consideration.
