ASTRO File Manager releases special version for installing Minecraft PE maps

If you've ever used an Android device, you've probably heard of ASTRO File Manager. With over 110 million downloads worldwide (according to the developers, at least), it's easily one of the most recognizable utilities for Android. And now they have a new file manager specifically for Minecraft Pocket Edition, aptly called 'ASTRO File Manager for Minecraft Pocket Edition'.

astro2I'll be honest, I had to double-check this was from the same developer as ASTRO. The app looks downright hideous, as indicated from the screenshot. The app claims to make it easy to download and install Minecraft PE maps.

ASTRO hooks into popular Minecraft PE map sites, like MCPEHub and Minecraftmaps to let you browse popular maps. Once you hit download on whatever site, ASTRO unzips the map automatically into the correct place for Minecraft PE to detect them. Pretty simple.

If you want to check it out yourself, you can do so at the source link below. Hopefully at some point they will make it NOT look like a virus.
