Just because you read it online, doesn't mean it's true. Unfortunately this means that rumors spread online very quickly, including one about Minecraft: Story Mode.
Dozens of news websites have been posting that the third episode of Minecraft: Story Mode, already officially titled "The Last Place You Look" could be coming as soon as this month. Despite how nice that would be for fans of the series, we couldn't find any reputable sources for it.
The first episode of Story Mode was released on October 13th, and it was a huge surprise to fans when the second episode came out on October 27th. Telltale usually takes their time with new episodes - sometimes taking months for other series.
So why did Telltale release the second episode so early? Well, I'm not a multi-million dollar video game studio, but I very much doubt you could make something like Episode Two in less than a month. More than likely, the second episode was in the final stages of production when Episode One was released.
'The Last Place You Look' is currently slated to be released in early 2016. The only description available is "Jesse and his/her friends find a way out of Ivor's dark tomb before the witherstorm destroys the entire world."
