Minecraft Pocket Edition now available for Apple devices

The iPad version of MC Pocket Edition

Minecraftforum user Stream reports that Minecraft Pocket Edition (also knows as MC Pocket Edition) is now available for the iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad. The application costs $9.99 (US dollars) and is availabe from the App Store. The requirements are listed as any Apple device running iOS 4.3 or later, ruling out any iPhone 3G users (like me). UPDATE: The game should be available for users in the US Eastern time zone about 11 PM tonight.
