Even though Minecraft Pocket Edition 0.5.0 was submitted, it likely will not reach users for another few weeks. This is why the main developer for Minecraft Pocket Edition, Johan Bernhardsson, livestreamed gameplay of the new release on his Android device. The stream involved using chests and how the new Nether Reactor works (it's a bit complicated).
