I'm not sure why it's this way, but Minecraft Pocket Edition players seem to be less patient about updates than PC players. Here at Powered by Redstone, we have gotten several dozen emails and tweets asking us when the next update is for Minecraft PE, and next to none for the PC version. How that works out, I have no idea, but they would be happy to know that 0.5.0 is finally out! One of the MCPE devs said on Twitter today, "Minecraft — Pocket Edition 0.5.0 has been released.
