N0VA 2.0 will be the next major version of our Minecraft modpack based on Minecraft 1.5, but we wanted to give you a taste of what will be new. While we wait for Not Enough Items and a few other mods to update, we wanted to give you something to play with in the meantime. N0VA Beta is a new branch of our modpack, which always has the latest Forge and other mods. N0VA Beta is a seperate modpack in the eyes of the Technic Launcher, so if it crashes, none of your worlds from N0VA will be effected. Right now the only mod that is in N0VA Beta is Forge, since CodeChickenCore is having problems so Not Enough Items can be added.Every time a mod is updated (stable or not), a new version of N0VA Beta will be released. When the mods are deemed stable enough for regular use, it will be pushed to regular N0VA. This gives you first dibs at new features, (some of the time) at the cost of stability. If you want to add N0VA Beta to your launcher, click Add New Pack and paste in: http://technicpack.net/api/modpack/n0va-beta to use the pack. Update: N0VA Beta moves quickly, and we've already included Single Player Commands and Inventory Tweaks! Still waiting on ChickenBones to fix Not Enough Items though.
