Minecraft Pocket Edition 0.7.3 submitted for review, adds sun, moon, stars, and much more

Minecraft Pocket Edition has been getting a lot of updates lately, and today continues the trend. Johan, the lead developer for Minecraft PE, announced today that version 0.7.3 of the mobile game has been submitted to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store (and presumably the Amazon App Store).

Johan said on Twitter, "0.7.3 adds sun, moon, stars, double chests, quartz slabs, a cooler title screen and Realms improvements. Also fixes a few bugs." Visually, Minecraft Pocket Edition and the Xbox/PC versions are starting to look alike, now that a full sky is now in all games.

The usual submission time for sending apps to the Apple App Store is around two weeks. Even though publishing an app on the Google Play Store (Android Market) only takes a matter of hours, Mojang is lining up the release so it is simultaneous on both platforms. Additionally, the latest version requires iOS 5 if you are on an Apple device so make sure to update your device to at least iOS 5.0 if you want to play.
