Since Minecraft Pocket Edition was first released for the Xperia Play, players have been wishing for caves to be implemented into world generation. Today, those wishes have been granted. The above screenshot, tweeted by Mojang developer Tommaso Checchi, confirms that caves will be added to Minecraft PE 0.9.0. "After thousands of errors, the 0.9 masterplan begins to make sense.. dat cache heatmap! oh and caves are nice, too!" he said in the tweet.You may be wondering what that weird radar thing is on the top-right. Don't worry, that's a minimap that shows which chunks have fully loaded. It's purely for Mojang to help them develop the game, and it will be removed when the release rolls around.
