Minecon 2013: Twitch.tv streaming will be integrated in Minecraft 1.8

logoMinecraft is one of the most popular games to stream on the internet, most notably on Twitch. If you aren't aware, Twitch.tv is a website that allows users to stream video games and other events easily. Today at Minecon 2013, Mojang announced that Minecraft 1.8 would have built-in support for streaming to Twitch.tv.

In addition, the game would also have advanced Twitch chat support. Twitch.tv streams have a chat box, where viewers can...well...chat. When streaming to Twitch.tv, you will be able to see the Twitch.tv chat in the Minecraft chat, and even respond to messages from there. You will also be able to filter which messages show up, whether it's everyone, just moderators, nobody, etc.
