Me and many others are guilty of turning off the music in Minecraft. There's certainly a reason for this - most of the music has been the same since Minecraft was in Alpha. However, that's about to change. Today Daniel Rosenfeld, more commonly known as C418, released his largest album yet 'Minecraft - Volume Beta'. The album features 30 songs that will be added into Minecraft in the near future. A few tracks, like Fall, Cat, and Block, are already in the game.
It's not entirely clear where most of these tracks will appear in-game, and if they will play randomly like music currently in-game or be triggered by your location or the environment. The song titles don't help to clarify (they are vague at best), but they all are excellent tracks. You can buy the album (or certain tracks) today on iTunes or Bandcamp at the source links below.
Update: C418 has confirmed that all the music in Minecraft - Beta Volume will be in Minecraft by next week, and the album will also be in Spotify by next week.
