Technic is one of the most well-known names in the Minecraft community. The team of people known as Technic are responsible for the Technic Launcher, one of the most popular 3rd-party Minecraft launchers, as well as several modpacks like Tekkit. Today Technic is partnering with a Twitch group known as the 'B-Team' to raise money for Child's Play. Child's Play is a game industry charity dedicated to improving the lives of children with toys and games, collaborating with a network of over 70 hospitals worldwide.
The modpack will be revealed in less than an hour on the two livestreams below, and anyone who donates at least $5 during the livestream will be able to play the modpack. For everyone else, the modpack will be publicly released by Technic on Monday. The modpack itself, called 'Attack of the B-Team', is themed to feel like a 1950's-1960's science horror movie. Mods in the pack include Tinkers Construct, Advanced Genetics, Archimedes' Ships, Artifice, MineFactoryReloaded (for your "nerdy" machinery stuff), Natura, Biomes O' Plenty, Carpenter's Blocks, Darwin, and many more.
