Many people who see Minecraft for the first time think it's silly, or call it a kid's game, or write it off as being too mainstream while they go back to playing 'real' indie games. But what happens when you completely miss the point of Minecraft? That's what the United Kingdom-based Metro magazine did.
Reddit user Madbriller shared the above picture from the latest issue of Metro, a tabloid magazine based in London, UK. On an article about the best-selling games and apps on the Apple App Store, the writer mistook Minecraft as a 'war game' in describing it's success on iOS. Granted it could be an easy mistake to make - the picture of Steve with a pickaxe could be mistaken for someone about to whack you upside the head.
Nevertheless, according to Metro Minecraft ranks among such awe-inspiring success stories like 7 Minute Workout Challenge and Sleep Cycle Alarm Clock. See the source link for the original post.
