Have you noticed there hasn't been much news about Minecraft PC Edition? That's because it's been almost nine months (eight months and 23 days to be exact) since Minecraft PC 1.8 was released. We're not sure exactly why PC 1.9 is taking so long, besides the large number of conventions Mojang attended earlier this year, but here's a bug fix update to enjoy in the meantime.
Today Mojang released Minecraft 1.8.6, bringing a small number of bug fixes to possibly the longest-lasting Minecraft update in existence. Or rather, just one bug fix - fixing an exploit with signs and command blocks. That's basically it.
