Tommaso teases new features for Minecraft PE 0.12.0

What better way to start the day than to decrypt a tweet from a Minecraft PE developer? Earlier today, Tommaso tweeted a teaser of features coming in Minecraft PE. But there's a catch -  he only posted the first letter of every feature.

So while we can guess what each feature is, it's possible Tommaso is just messing with all of us and is planning something different. That being said, here's our predicitions:

  • Nether: The Nether was first revealed in Minecraft PE back in April, but with the last public betas of PE 0.11.0 out it was pretty clear it wouldn't make it into 0.11.0. There was always the chance it could be delayed to 0.13.0, but now we know it's coming in the next major update.

  • Sprint: Pretty self explanitory, this likely means new movement controls are coming.

  • Crouch: Same as above.

  • Ocelot: Ocelots have probably been delayed more than any other feature in Minecraft PE. They were originally coming in 0.9.0, but delayed to 0.10.0, and again to 0.11.0. Hopefully this time, we will finally get felines in Minecraft PE.

  • Hunger: For you survivalist players out there, hunger might finally come in 0.12.0.

  • Ghasts: Even though the resources for Ghasts are in 0.11.0, and it's even possible to hack a Ghast into your world, it's actually becoming official in 0.12.0.

  • Experience: Adding XP to Minecraft PE has been in development since at least 0.9.0, but it might finally come this time.

  • Potions: If experience is being added, it makes sense that potions would be added as well.

  • Adventure Mode: We aren't really sure about this one, with the developers saying they will likely never add commands to Minecraft PE a few months ago, and commands being the only way to do anything in adventure mode. It's still a mystery.

  • Faster Pigmen: Again not really sure, it could also be Flower Pots.

  • Controller Support: We already posted about how controller support is coming in the next update, so this isn't much of a surprise either.

So that about does it, let us know if you have different guesses for Tommaso's puzzle in the comments below.
