Minecraft Pocket Edition 0.12.0 delayed to August

A Minecraft Pocket Edition update being delayed? Color me surprised! Minecraft Pocket Edition 0.12.0 is now estimated for release in August, pushing back from it's original July 29th release. This was set in place to line up with the release of Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition and Windows 10, which are still coming out on that day. Tomasso broke the news over Twitter earlier today:

This may seem like bad news, but it was very unusual for the Pocket Edition team to announce a release date weeks in advance. It's unclear if Windows 10 Edition, which uses the same codebase as Minecraft: Pocket Edition, will have the above features or not (besides controller support, which was already confirmed).

Either way, this update is shaping up to be bigger than Minecraft Pocket Edition 0.9.0, which was in development for over six months. Hopefully 0.12.0 won't take that long.
