Minecraft: Story Mode reviews coming in, mostly positive

Minecraft: Story Mode, the new Minecraft spin-off developed by Telltale Games, was released earlier today.  The game is now available on Androidi, OS, Windows, Mac OS X, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One - with versions for the Wii U and PS Vita coming soon. Just like any video game, dozens of major gaming sites have published their reviews of the game.

GameSpot gave the game a 7/10, stating the game had some intense sequences and ties into Minecraft well, but the story became interesting just before it ended. Polygon gave Story Mode an 8/10, praising the balance between Telltale storytelling and the world of Minecraft. IGN gave it a score of 7.3/10, praising it's visuals and mystery but stating it had a lack of puzzles.

There's many more reviews online from tons of sites, but the general response is positive. Despite everyone complaining that the game would be a cash grab (which I'm sure it is making a lot of money), it ended up being a good title. Keep in mind that only the first 'episode' is available right now, it's safe to assume there will be several more in the future.
