I totally get that kids these days don't read as much as previous generations. We have awesome stuff like video games, high-budget movies, and the internet to get our fill of popular culture. But you cannot tell me for one second that 'Diary of a Minecraft Zombie' should be on the same level of quality of Harry Potter and The Hunger Games.
Nickelodeon is hosting their annual Kids' Choice Awards show, and you can already vote for your favorites from the nominations. The 'Favorite Book' category includes your usual standard middle/high-school literature - Harry Potter, The Hunger Games, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, and ... Diary of a Minecraft Zombie? Huh?
